How would your life be different if you didn't have trichotillomania?

In this blog post I will be responding to a question from my guided journal, My Trichster Diaries. Please feel free to share your answer in the comments below.
Woof! What a question, right?
The first thing that popped into my head is: I wouldn't have the same sense of humor and I wouldn't be as funny.
Growing up with trichotillomania, a very obvious-to-others-something-is-wrong-because-it-is-happening-on-my-face disorder, was extremely challenging. I mean, to be frank, it SUCKED! IT REALLY SUCKED! And when something is happening to you that really sucks you somehow start to develop a really great sense of humor and make people laugh. It's a coping mechanism! There are tons of articles about how trauma makes you funny and that's exactly what happened to me :-)
On a more serious note, I think that if I didn't have trichotillomania I also wouldn't have the same level of empathy. Don't get me wrong, I was born with a kind heart and I was raised to be kind so it's not like I would've been mean-spirited it's just that I know exactly what it feels like to be stared at, mocked, and made fun of, to be viewed as an outsider or "weirdo" for something that is completely out of my control so I definitely wouldn't do that to someone else. Ever.
I'd love to hear your responses!
