Get to Know Me &
My Approach
Since 2001, I have lived with trichotillomania, the hair-pulling disorder. Like many others, it caused me immense shame, guilt, and embarrassment. After trying everything I could to stop pulling: therapy, medications, being involved in multiple studies, and more, nothing worked for me. I changed my mindset and it changed my life.
Instead of focusing on stopping, I started focusing on accepting and learning from my trichotillomania. This disorder has shown me for over twenty years that it is here to stay and I was finished with the shame, guilt, and embarrassment. I wanted to love myself, fully, for the first time in my life.
I am here to help my clients achieve a more positive, understanding, and loving outlook on their trichotillomania. I will provide them with all the tools necessary to get them there. Let me help you learn and develop better ways to love yourself and your trichotillomania. It will change your life.
